Abdulaziz visiting his former surfers in the Philippines!

Hi Abdulaziz! So, how did you learn about Couchsurfing?
By my friend. She wrote a Facebook post explaining that she used CouchSurfing during her trip to France and she met many friends there who helped her a lot and hosted her. From there, I began to search for Couchsurfing and read more about it until I became a member.

Incredible! Why did you get involved with the Ambassador program?
CouchSurfing is my life! I wanted to be an ambassador because I have visions and goals and I want to share it with the Couchsurfing community.

Very cool! And what was your first Couchsurfing experience?
The first experience was with a couple from the United States. I was very worried, as it was the first time I spoke English! They encouraged me a lot and I made them a dinner of meat and okra. We talked a lot about dreams and ambitions and they helped me a lot to understand Couchsurfing better. We are still in touch until now!

Well we are very glad to have you! What was one of your most memorable hosting experiences?
My favorite experience hosing was one of the best pianists in Belgium. I helped her organize a concert at the Roman Theater in Alexandria. Many young people attended and she was very happy! I still remember the brightness in her eyes after the concert.

Visiting former surfers is always the best! Has there been any book that has inspired your travels?
