We roll out updates to Couchsurfing’s services on a regular basis – here are some of the new features we recently released:
- New profile overview “at a glance” – this helps Couchsurfers easily see reviews and missing fields, which should prompt more fully filled out profiles and give Couchsurfers quick insight on a specific Couchsurfer.
- You can now add your Facebook friends who use Couchsurfing with one click from your dashboard. After you click to add them, your friend will get a request on Couchsurfing to add them as a Couchsurfing friend.
- When you create an event, you can invite your Couchsurfing friends! Simply click the invite button once you’ve created an event and either “select all” or choose the specific friends you’d like to attend your event.
- There is now an email confirmation requirement for all accounts – no one can use Couchsurfing to communicate without having a valid email address on file. This helps prevent spam and maintain a high integrity of user accounts. If you’re having issues with logging into your account and can’t reset your password for some reason, please contact support.
