A few weeks ago, our very first mobile app was released for iPhone. Today, it is now also available in the Google Play store.
For the first version of our app, we’ve built a fast, easy-to-use platform for hosting and surfing. You’ll be able to search, view profiles, & send and receive CouchRequests.
And this is only the beginning. If you live in a city, chances are you’re surrounded by CouchSurfers all the time. And when you’re traveling, it’s pretty likely that whether you’re at the museum or the park, another CouchSurfer is, too.
Very soon, we want you to have the ability to tap into the CouchSurfing community anytime, anywhere, both through the site and on your phone. We’re going to be adding lots of great features to the app as time goes on. Meanwhile, we’re also working on a major site upgrade that will make it easier to find people to meet. It’s an exciting season for CouchSurfing, and it all starts here.
