Couchsurfing great even for seniors

A word to seniors who may be pondering joining Couchsurfing and wondering about its value. I have now CSed in 4 countries: Egypt, Bolivia, Brazil and USA Virginia and have found it to be enlightening and an excellent way to engage with local people eager to host foreigners passing through. It has been a totally non commercial way to meet people genuinely interested in helping improve my visit, whether meeting me for a stroll, a meal together, a drive around town or hosting me for the night. I very much look forward to more CS experiences on travel to Haiti and other places. I have only recently learned there is a group on Couchsurfing for people 50+ years of age and will look into it. The CS experience helps broaden minds, so I say bravo.
